Our HEART in Hand Outreach is a program designated to help the Central Valley HEART Program (Homeless Education and Resource Team) find resources for the many needs of our Central Valley students & their families who find themselves in temporary or transitional housing during the school year. Last year there were over 500 CV kiddos identified for this program, over 800 Valley-wide. (Find out more about HEART Program: www.cvsd.org/homeless_education_program.asp)

HEART In Hand Fund
As part of this Outreach, last month Central Valley PTA Council voted to set up a Restricted Fund under our PTA to collect donations and provide a source of help to the temporary needs of these families. Being a 501©3, we are able to provide tax deductible receipt to donors.This Fund will go to needs of students and families identified by the CV HEART program
